About the Award
Sarkhej Kanya Pri. Shalais is an educational institution located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The girl students from Classes 5 to 8 have made more than ₹25,000 paper bags from newspapers over the past three years and distributed them free of cost to local traders. They have appealed to shopkeepers to use these paper bags instead of plastic bags when giving items to customers. In recognition of their exemplary achievements, International Book of Records proudly confers upon them the “APPRECIATION AWARD” on 6th February 2026.
